
AHEAD of the Easter Break, Scoil Mhuire Agus Íde (SMI) of Newcastle West clinched the Munster FAI Schools U15 Trophy following a penalty shoot-out victory over Carrick-on Suir of Waterford in Fermoy, County Cork.
The teams had tied 2 apiece after normal time, and no goals arrived in additional time.
SMI registered goals through Paddy O’Sullivan and Ryan Cummins.
In the dramatic penalties, a great save by Zach O’Keeffe proved crucial for the Limerick team.
Ciarán O’Sullivan was the winning manager.
