LIMERICK bump into Cork in the opening round of the Munster Senior Football Championship at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this Sunday (2pm).

There were contrasting fortunes for the teams in the National League, with Cork earning qualification to Division 1 and Limerick dropping to Division 4.

On this basis, it’s a daunting challenge for Jimmy Lee’s side, which, however, is capable of causing an upset.

The winners advance to meet either Tipperary or Waterford in the semi-final.
