A NETFLIX documentary about the tragic killing of Limerick man Jason Corbett by his wife and father-in-law, Molly and Tom Martins, has made the shortlist for a prestigious Emmy Award.
The documentary, A Deadly American Marriage, was co-produced by Limerick journalist and author Brian Carroll, and featured moving personal accounts by members of the Corbett family, including Mr Corbett’s children, Jack and Sarah, and his sister Treacy Corbett-Lynch.
It was among the most watched programmes on Netflix last year.
Now, it has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Crime and Justice Documentary category at this year’s News and Documentary Emmy Awards, which is set to take place on May 28 at the Lincoln Centre’s Frederick P Rose Hall in New York City.
