LIMERICK rapper and producer Harry Kelly has released his latest single STAR, a high-energy collaboration featuring Belfast rapper and producer cbakl and Limerick-based artist GavinDaVinci, accompanied by a striking music video shot across Limerick city (filmed in Record Room, The Commercial) and Belfast.

Directed by Kelly alongside Jasper Fitzgerald, the video draws its visual concept from old Vaudeville-style stand-up comedy, evoking the kind of sharp-suited club comedians familiar from classic mafia films. Kelly opens proceedings as a tongue-in-cheek comic figure delivering quick-fire jokes, adding a layer of character and dry humour before the track shifts into its main gear.

The single itself is a fast-paced rap record built on sharp verses and a kinetic, propulsive feel. The three-way collaboration brings together contrasting styles to strong effect — cbakl contributes a raw, textured presence while GavinDaVinci brings confident energy that drives the track’s momentum forward.

STAR marks Kelly’s first release in six months and, by his own account, signals the beginning of a more active run of music heading into the summer. Known for blending alternative hip hop with electronic and dance influences, the Limerick artist has steadily built his profile through self-directed releases and visually ambitious projects.
