A GROUP of young Limerick people from the Generation Glas sustainability ambassador programme are bringing a unique experience to the People’s Park this weekend.
The event will feature a solar powered outdoor film screening of the 2017 movie DreamWorks Bee, as well as sustainability themed games and activities for the family to enjoy. It’s being led by 28 young people taking part in the Generation Glas programme.
Many of them come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in sustainability spaces.
Through this initiative, they are creating opportunities for themselves, and for their wider communities to connect with climate action in a meaningful and inclusive way. People can join the group from 2.30.pm until 5.pm.
