THE Northside Misfits Community Drama Group will celebrate their twelfth anniversary with the world premiere of their self-penned courtroom comedy All Rise!, directed by Limerick crime writer Karen Fitzgibbon, at Belltable, on Tuesday April 29 and Wednesday April 30, 2026.

In the group’s trademark style of raucous, high-energy performance, All Rise! sees Marilyn Begley on trial for the murder of her husband. She insists he died in his sleep — but the body of evidence suggests otherwise. As witnesses emerge and the case against her builds, the question becomes whether the defence can prove her innocence before the prosecution seals her fate. Fast-paced and funny, the production promises frazzled witnesses, illegal activity and plenty of courtroom chaos.

Founded twelve years ago, the Northside Misfits have built a formidable reputation on the Limerick arts scene, with previous productions selling out at the Belltable and the Northside Youth Space. The group were invited to Manchester by street theatre company Walk The Plank to participate in the Manchester Day Parade, and travelled to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin to perform their acclaimed play taLK.

All Rise! marks another milestone for a group that has consistently brought original, community-driven theatre to Limerick audiences.
