RUGBY referees from across Munster will take part in a special charity cycle next month to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Around 10 refs from all over the region will kick off the ‘Whistles and Wheels’ 100km charity cycle from Cork to Limerick on Saturday May 16, starting at Cork’s Virgin Media Park and finishing at Thomond Park in Limerick just ahead of the Munster v Lions fixture.

The ref riders will stop off at a number of clubs along the way, including Mallow RFC, Charleville RFC, and Garryowen FC.
