FORMER Aisling Annacotty underage player Dara Costelloe has made a big move to English Premier League side Burnley FC this evening.
He has signed for the clubโs academy following a successful trial.
Costelloeโs former club Galway United announced the news on their official Twitter page this evening.
Costelloe became Galway Unitedโs youngest ever player when he made his senior debut against Finn Harps in September 2018 as a 15 year-old at Finn Park. The left-footed winger signed for the Clarets tonight on a deal until June 2022.
The former Galway man has been part of former Aston Villa midfielder Steve Stoneโs U-23 side as well as the U-18โs setup and featured in a 2-0 win over Newcastle U-23โs today.
