A SPECIAL jersey presentation was made by the family of a beloved late member of the 2004 FAI Junior Cup-winning Fairview Rangers team.
John Lyne passed away tragically in a road incident in April 2024 in Calgary, Canada, where the young Limerick man had been living for a number of years.
Before moving to Canada, John had been a gifted player with Fairview Rangers, helping them to great success in the 2004 FAI Junior Cup.
In memory of John near the anniversary of his passing, his family have presented the very jersey John wore in the club’s 2004 final win, signed by team members, to Declan Considine of Ant and Dec’s sports bar in Limerick City.
