2025 HAS been a testament to the resilience, commitment, and unity that define our County Senior Football Family.
From the outset, there was a clear belief within the panel and management that Limerick could push boundaries, and they did just that.
Securing promotion from Division 4 of the National League was a main goal and a pivotal achievement, underpinned by disciplined performances and an unwavering team spirit.
It marked our return to a higher level where I firmly believe we can build on that success to gain promotion to Division 2.
Our championship journey has been equally memorable.
We have in this group a unique crop of men whom we are privileged to witness playing for the Limerick.
I want to thank all the players for the incredible sacrifices they give for our county, year in year out and each one deserves all the accolades that the ‘25 success brings.
They’ve inspired a new generation of footballers across Limerick.
None of this success would be possible without the incredible work of our management team, led by Jimmy Lee and Micheàl Cahill, whose vision and leadership are instrumental.
They are supported by a backroom team, second to none, who have worked tirelessly to achieve our goals.
I want to thank each member of the management and backroom team for everything, especially for their unlimited time and effort throughout the year.
Thanks also to our supporters, your energy has lifted the team every step of the way from Longford to London and from Antrim to Dublin.
Sincere gratitude to our sponsors who have been with us throughout the years.
As we look forward to the final in Croke Park, we do so with optimism and belief.
This season has laid a solid foundation and I believe the best is yet to come.
