RYANAIR has announced 35 new cabin crew positions for its Shannon base, as part of its ongoing growth at the Mid West gateway.
And the CEO of the Shannon Airport Group has again called for the Government to draw up an aviation policy to support balanced regional growth.
Ryanair will host two recruitment events for the positions in Shannon on Tues, 15 July and Limerick Wed, 16 July.
Candidates will receive a detailed presentation about Ryanair, its operations, and what it means to be part of the airline. They will also complete a full assessment on the day, giving them the opportunity to move quickly through the application process.
Further details and event registration are available at careers.ryanair.com.
Welcoming the announcement, Mary Considine, CEO, The Shannon Airport Group said: โWeโre delighted to welcome Ryanair’s jobs announcement for Shannon Airport which comes on the back of their expansion plans for the airport announced last month.
“Ryanairโs further expansion at Shannon Airport of a fourth based aircraft, three exciting new Winter โ25 services from Shannon Airport to Madrid, Rovaniemi (Lapland), and Madeira, and increased frequencies on six existing routes, offers even greater choice for our passengers and strengthens Shannonโs position as a key gateway to and from the West of Ireland.
“Ryanairโs investment is a powerful endorsement of the potential of Shannon, a vote of confidence in the market here, and these new jobs are a testament to the progress weโve made growing passenger numbers.
“Weโre very ambitious for the airport and the Group. We see a huge potential for growth and believe there is a real opportunity for Shannon Airport to lead the way in rebalancing the national landscape. A new aviation policy that recognises and supports the strategic importance of Shannon Airport to the countryโs economy is now required.โ
Ryanairโs Director of Talent, Mark Duffy, said:โWe are delighted to announce 35 new cabin crew positions at our Shannon Airport base to support our busy Summer 2025 operations.
“As Irelandโs and Europeโs No. 1 airline, these cabin crew opportunities offer candidates the chance to secure the best cabin crew jobs in aviation, where hard work is rewarded with fast-track career opportunities, discounted travel and more.โ
