GOLF Ireland has announced its performance development panels for 2026, and there is a sprinkling of local representation within.
Rising star Jessica Sutton has been chosen for the U18 Girls Performance Panel.
The 15 year old is attached to Ballyneety GC.
Selected for the U18 Boys Performance Panel are Limerick GC pair James Crowe and Paddy O’Connell, along with Shannon GC’s Donnacha Halpin.
On the club front, Ballyneety earned silver in the All-Ireland Ladies Intermediate Foursomes Championship at Athlone GC.
Jointly managed by Olive O’Callaghan and Helen Stewart, the team comprised of: Siobhán Cronin and Angela Hayes, Meghann Hayes and Jude Byrne, Candy Cheung and Noreen Campbell, Louise Wilkinson and Margie Wallace, and Majella Comerford and Bernadette Carr.
