FINALISTS Limerick have been rewarded with four representatives on the 2025 Tailteann Cup Team of the Year, which was announced at the weekend.
Those shortlisted were goalkeeper Josh Ryan, defender Iain Corbett, and attacking pair James Naughton and Danny Neville.
After a titanic battle in the final with Kildare at Croke Park, Jimmy Lee’s side came up just short in a quest to compete in next year’s Sam Maguire Cup.
GAA President Jarlath Burns said that “in four short years, this competition has fulfilled our ambition of injecting new life into championship football”.
“And this dedicated award scheme is also a key to its success, allowing us to recognise some of the outstanding performers from across the packed summer of games. Congratulations to all those who have been chosen as the cream of the 2025 crop.”
