A SPECIAL photo book and video documenting Limerick’s tribute to three beloved entertainers – John Kenny, Johnny Duhan, and Johnny Fean – will be launched at the People’s Museum of Limerick on Friday December 5, from 7pm to 9pm.
The commemorative book captures the May 2025 concert held at the Limetree Theatre, where the city came together to honour the trio of entertainers who meant so much to Limerick. The emotional evening saw Gimmick perform in tribute to John Kenny, the Fean Family pay homage to Johnny Fean, whilst Cha Haran, David Hockedy, Dave Keary, and Liam Darcy celebrated the legacy of Johnny Duhan.
Alongside the book launch, a video link of the entire musical tribute will go live, allowing fans to relive the special night and those unable to attend to experience the celebration.
Live 95fm’s Nigel Dugdale will MC the launch event for the book which would make a lovely Christmas gift and a memento of an unforgettable night that celebrated three of Limerick’s finest talents.
