Stormy weekend ahead at Status Yellow warning issued for Limerick

THERE may be a rough weekend ahead for Limerick as a Status Yellow has been issued for the entire county this coming Friday and Saturday.

Met Éireann issued a Status Yellow rain alert for Limerick to come into effect at 2pm on Friday (November 14) lasting until 11am on Saturday morning (November 15).

The weather service warned of potential flooding, difficult travelling conditions, and poor visibility during the storm.

The Status Yellow warning was also issued for Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, and Meath.

A more severe Status Orange rain warnig was issued for Dublin, Wexford, and Wicklow, with predictions of significant flooding and hazardous travelling conditions.
