ARDAGH District Sport and Recreation CLG have unlocked grant funding to advance a multi-purpose astro-turf pitch, ball wall, and floodlit community walkway thanks to bridging finance provided by Social Finance lender Community Finance Ireland (CFI).
Community Finance Ireland can provide match funding in the form of term loan finance, and bridging loan finance to fill the shortfall in funding.
Said committee member Deirdre Ambrose explains: “We had applied for Leader funding, but a condition was that we had to secure match funding from another source.
We would not have been able to get this project off the ground had it not been for CFI.”
