AHEAD of Christmas in the city, Sergeant Natasha Walsh is appealing to revellers and shoppers not to let criminals spoil the season.
“Small changes in behaviour will make a huge difference here, park safely, keep your valuables out of sight, and if you see anything suspicious please contact Gardaí on 999 in the event of an emergency, your local station, or the Garda Confidential line.”
Sergeant Walsh said that “Limerick is a great city and we want people feel safe in their own city”, adding that “From a policing perspective, we have members out on the beat, and various initiatives to ensure people are supported this holiday season”.
