THE Commercial Bar in Limerick will host its second annual Merch & Record Fair this Saturday December 6, featuring more than 30 local artists and brands.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the free-entry fair will run from 1pm to 6pm, showcasing merchandise from acts including God Knows, Windings, His Father’s Voice, The Hitchers, Japanese Jesus and Anna’s Anchor, alongside local labels Downbeat Records and Steamboat Records.

The event will also mark the launch of Live at Record Room Volume 2, a vinyl compilation capturing performances by 12 Limerick artists recorded at the city venue.

The album features Annie Cheevers, Citrus Fresh, Emily Panter, God Knows, Japanese Jesus, Joyce, Meadhbh Hayes, Mother of Pearl, MuRli, Redwood, Seán O’Meara and The Labourers.

Live At Record Room captures a snapshot of Limrock in 2025, from nu folk to shoegaze to hip hop and many points in between – the record proves new music in Limerick is in rude health. The recording documents over 12 acts onstage in front of supportive full house crowds – it has all the energy of live performance captured in high quality recordings. The only way to hear Live At Record Room 2 is by buying the record and supporting the artists. The album will not be available to streaming services.
