BRITISH pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been added to the bill for Shania Twain’s highly anticipated Thomond Park Stadium concert in Limerick on 7 July 2026.

Ellis-Bextor, best known for floor-filling hits including Murder on the Dancefloor, Take Me Home, Get Over You, and Heartbreak (Make Me a Dancer), will join the iconic pop-country superstar for what is shaping up to be one of the fun live events of next summer.

The singer-songwriter has built a reputation for magnetic live performances, frequently weaving in dance classics from the likes of Madonna, Cher, ABBA, and Donna Summer — a set of crowd-pleasing turns that are sure to warm up the Thomond faithful ahead of Twain’s headline set.

Twain’s catalogue includes huge international hits including ‘Any Man of Mine’, ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, ‘You’re Still the One’ and ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman! She was also the first artist in history to release three consecutive diamond-certified albums. Twain is currently working on new material for her seventh album, due for release in 2026 on Republic Records, while a biopic and other film and TV projects are also in development.
