New MD appointed to head Citroen in Ireland

CITROEN Motors Ireland has announced the appointment of Frédéric Soulier as managing director of the company, with immediate effect.
Mr Soulier brings a wealth of marketing and commercial experience to his new role, having recently been responsible for dealer and network development in Eastern Europe.  He has worked for Citroën for over 12 years, starting as product manager for C3 and later becoming pricing manager for several Citroën subsidiaries in Europe.

He has also had prior experience of the Irish market, having co-ordinated EU importer operations.
Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Soulier said; “I am very enthusiastic and optimistic about the opportunities for Citroën in the Irish market, particularly with the launch of the New C4 in January, and I am looking forward to optimising the potential of the Brand and the dealer network.  The New C4 in particular is ideally positioned to move our brand forward in 2011 with over 35 per cent of the Irish car market falling within this segment.”
