Cratloe woman recovering after Galway stabbing

A CRATLOE woman is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the stomach during a row at Galway city housing estate.

The woman in her 30s is recovering in hospital after a row broke out in Ard an Choiste on the Headford Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Two people were arrested after the incident. A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were both detained and questioned but later released.

Gardai in Galway are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
