Limerick hurlers return to action

Passage v Na Piarsaigh - AIB Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship Semi-FinalTHE 2014 hurling season gets under way this weekend as the preliminary round of the Waterford Crystal Cup takes place.
Limerick’s joint managers TJ Ryan and Donal O’Grady will be looking to blood some new players ahead of the National hurling league which begins in February.
The Institute of Technology Tralee will provide the opposition on Friday night in Mick Neville Park. The game throws in at 7.30pm, with Fergal Horgan of Tipperary the man in the middle.
The Limerick senior hurling panel includes eleven players that have been added to the senior hurling development panel. The players added are as follows Barry Hennessy (Kilmallock), Richard English (Doon), Philip O Loughlin (Kilmallock), Barry Lynch (Feohanagh/Castlemahon), Cathal McNamara (Doon), Darragh Kennedy (Murroe/Boher), Darragh O Donovan (Doon), Niall Kennedy (Granagh/Ballingarry), William Hickey (South Liberties), Michael Ryan (Doon) and John Fitzgibbon (Adare).
