LIMERICK venue Dolan’s won the IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Award at the annual IMRO event held in Dublin last night. Limerick’s University Concert Hall won the Best Munster Venue award.
The awards are presented annually by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) in recognition of music venues that provide the very highest standards in live music entertainment. Over 10,000 members of the Irish Music Rights Organisation voted for their favorite music venues.
Vicar Street was Dublin’s Best Venue while Electric Picnic was Live Music Festival of the Year. The event featured live performances from Jack O’Rourke, Lethal Dialect and The Minutes.
