Teen driver seriously injured in Limerick road crash

gardavanWITNESSES to a serious road crash this Monday morning in county Limerick are being sought by gardai after a young man was hospitalised and said to be in a serious condition with his injuries.

Gardai are appealing for the help of the public after an 18 year old driver, who was also the sole occupant of the vehicle, crashed a Peugeot 307 into a wall at Turegh, Cappamore between midnight and 1am.

Emergency services were called to the scene including ambulance, fire and gardai and the driver, who is from the east of the county, was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

Bruff are investigating the incident and are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them on 061 382940.
