LIMERICK Writers’ Centre continues a busy series of educational courses, one dedicated to film scriptwriting to run on Saturdays from February 6 to March 19. It’s two hours per afternoon and will be facilitated by Eleanor McSherry, film producer and writer, and pillar to arts and film related festivals/ projects.
We are told that many past LWC participants have gone on to success, notably Andrew O’Gorman, Brian Comerford and Maeve McGrath. McGrath’s first film after the course, ‘Vanner’, was selected by the Chicago Irish Film Festival 2013, Galway Film Fleadh 2013, Underground Cinema Film Festival 2013, The Fingal Film Festival 2013 and the Dingle Film Festival 2014.
