THE BBQ Fiesta party nights at the Clarion Hotel have become a Summer favourite here in Limerick so we dropped by last weekend to catch some of the atmosphere at the popular venue.
The invitation said Hawaiian shirts were welcome and there definitely lots of people getting into the party spirit as a mixture of work colleagues and friends gathered for the occasion.
The party began straight away as arriving guests enjoyed cocktails as they mingled before enjoying a delicious BBQ food on the balcony – with a beautiful view of the river.
The next Fiesta party nights are on Friday July 29 and Friday August 26 but if you can’t make those you can always book your own BBQ.
The occasion can be tailor made for your group with the Classic, Fishy or Epic BBQ, right up to the exclusive BBQ in the Penthouse option.
Whatever you choose you and your guests can relax while the chef looks after your every whim. You can choose from cocktails, lemonade or Prosecco on arrival and when it comes to the food, pick from a huge array of choices with everything from tasty burgers in floury baps to marinated chicken in Kudo’s Asian spices. Or from juicy Toulouse sausages to traditional lamb koftas to an entire pig on a spit slow cooked for 12 hours and basted with Bulmer’s cider honey and herbs, the choice is yours. There are also plenty of dips, salads and canapés, with options for all tastes.
Other highlights of last Friday’s Fiesta BBQ party included music courtesy of a DJ until late with plenty of great spot prizes for guests to enjoy.
