I love awards season at this time of the year for one simple reason – the style! Kate Winslet and Sharon Stone were two of the best dressed at this week’s BAFTAs in Zac Posen and John Galliano respectively.


Happy Valentine’s day
So it’s finally Valentine’s weekend! Love is in the air and the card is in the post (or at least we hope so!) and now it’s time to prepare for a bit of romance. If you’re lucky you might even get an anonymous card – there’s nothing like a bit of mystery to make life more interesting!
Don’t forget tradition and add some sweet and/ or funny verses when writing yours.

Where there’s red carpet style, you’ll always find those at the other end of the scale and at the BAFTAs I’m afraid Marion Cotillard in this satin Christian Dior Spring 2009 Couture dress just didn’t do it for me.
