Man released after drugs find

A 27-YEAR-old man who had been questioned by Gardai following a drug find in the Garryowen area on Friday has been released without charge.
Gardai found the drugs during a planned search of the area at 5pm on Friday. The operation is part of the ongoing investigation into criminal gang activity in the city.

The man was detained at Roxboro Garda station under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
