Supermodel Twins

Limerick’s Supermodel Twins have released their debut album, ‘Raincloud Free’. Two years in the making with The Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan on the production duties, the record is a collection of infectious power pop melodies with clever lyrics about girls lost, loved and lusted after.

From the opening drum beat to the last tracks fade out, the record is just a noisy big slab of summer bliss laden with pop hooks around every corner.

Tracks such as Footprints, Bruises and One Step Behind will already be familiar and have received positive attention but throughout ‘Raincloud Free’ the band don’t put a foot wrong with loads more quirky nostalgic pop such as ‘Hilary’ or ‘The Only One’ throughout all cranked up to 11.

If you like Weezer or Fountains of Wayne’s first record you will love this! The race for the soundtrack of Summer 2011 has got it’s first entry.
