Crescent College face PBC in Senior Cup

-

ALL eyes will be on Thomond Park this Sunday after noon as Crescent College take on PBC of Cork in the semi final of the Avonmore Munster Senior Schools Cup.
It is 17 years ago now since Crescent last lifted the blue ribboned event. That 1994 side included a youthful David Wallace at number eight.

Having already seen of Ard Scoil Ris (15-5) in round one, as well as Castletroy College (10-3) in round two, the Raheen based side should have nothing to fear against the illustrious PBC.
Coached by former Munster players Tom Tierney and Eugene Mc Govern, Crescent have been playing some of the best rugby on show this season.
With a burly forward pack, which includes Munster provincial representative Niall Noran, Jack Donovan and grandson of Len Dineen, Jack.
The backline is marshalled by half backs Michael D’Arcy and Larry Hanley.
With so much made of home advantage in these school ties, Crescent Comp will be relishing running out at Thomond Park to hopefully secure a final spot against Rockwell or CBC. Kick off on Sunday is at 3pm.
