WITH only five weeks to go until May 1, the Great Limerick Run is holding an open evening for Volunteers on Wednesday April 6 in City Hall from 6-9pm.
Those who volunteer will receive Great Limerick Run t-shirts, and food and refreshments will also be provided. Volunteers can also apply via e-mail to [email protected].
Volunteers must be over the age of 16 for legal and insurance reasons.
Did you know that just by entering and finishing one of the events within the Great Limerick Run, whether you walk or run, you are automatically put into a draw to win a new VW Polo?
Following a review of last year’s event by the Great Limerick Run Management team, a number of changes have been made to (1). The route (2) The tiered starts of the race (3) The water stations (2011’s event will be using bottles) (4) Stewards and (5) Finish area to name just a few to make 2011’s event even bigger and better.
