Celebrations all around

NOW 20 years in business on Catherine Street, Pat Franklin has been doing shoe repairs for 35 years since 1976. Franklin Shoe Repairs is a family run business with Ann, Pat, Sarah and Stacey working there, alongside Brian Kiely and Christopher Gardiner. “Our two decades of trading at Catherine Street – we’re now No. 71 – has seen us build up a very good clientele,” Pat observes. “Our business is based on professionalism, skill and the top quality materials used for repairs, materials on which we will not compromise.

Franklin Shoe Repairs’ customers receive the very best of care”.
With so many new styles and colours in ladies’ shoes today, it is essential to accommodate the customer’s requirements with best attention to detail.  “There’s always a friendly, relaxed atmosphere when you visit our premises,” promises Pat.
Services include:
* Option of ‘while-U-wait’ and ‘call back’ services
* Key cutting

“We are the only shoe repair outlet in Limerick that supplies Rosso Solini products for ladies’ shoes, as seen on The Late Late Show and media. Rosso Solini colours transform the sole and arch of your standard shoe, making it a unique and high fashion accessory”.
These are available in a variety of colours, red being the most popular. Men’s shoes are also repaired in traditional leather and rubber soles and heels. Some good things never change, most of all at Franklin’s Shoe Repairs at 71 Catherine Street. Tel. 061-312773.
