Kilkenny topple Limerick in Thurles

-

LIMERICK exited the All Ireland Hurling Championship this afternoon after a 4-16 to 1-16 loss to Kilkenny. Trailing by a single point at half time, Limerick played with a strong wind in the second half. The second 35 did not match the first however as goals from Aiden Fogarty and Colin Fennelly in the 54th and 55th minute means that Limerick exit the championship at the same round as they did last year. For more on today’s game, see this Thursday’s issue of the Limerick Post Newspaper.
