Man pleads guilty to dangerous driving resulting in death of 16-year-old

A 23-YEAR-old man has pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving causing the death of a 16-year-old girl who she was the backseat passenger of a car involved in a head on collision in Feohanagh Co Limerick on July 10, 2010 last.
Peter Brouder with an address at Castleview, Strand,, Co Limerick, was arraigned at Limerick Circuit Court this week and entered the plea of guilty to the charge of dangerous driving, including driving at speed, on the night in question.

16-year-old Amy St John died as a result of her injuries two days after the head-on crash in which she was a backseat passenger in the 2000 registered Honda Civic car driven by Mr Brouder.
Mr Brouder was remanded on continuing bail after entering his plea and is to appear before the court again on January 25 of next year for sentencing.
