Mystery jobs

MYSTERY still surrounds the details of the 400 jobs promised for Limerick by Finance Minister, Michael Noonan last week. There is still no news of when, where or even in which sector the jobs will be created.

Fianna Fail Deputy, Willie O’Dea has called on the Minister to clarify his comment. “If he wants to hold back on the announcement to protect privacy then that’s fine, but if he’s speaking before this is official then it’s very careless,” he said. Meanwhile, 40 new jobs will be provided over the next three years at ActionPoint Technology in the National Technology Park.
