FOOTBALL and beauty will unite at the Factory Youth Space in Southhill next Saturday.’Footy and Beauty’ is for girls aged 16 to 21, and will involve a soccer tournament and penalty shootouts overseen by Limerick FC’s Mighty Blues and their mascot Leo the Lion. Hair and beauty workshops will also feature on the day along with food and entertainment. Mayor Gerry McLoughlin will attend the event from 12 noon to 4pm and funds raised will go towards training courses to get young girls involved in the beauty industry.
