THERE is a growing number of venues throughout the city staging new and original music from Limerick and beyond. This month The Library will establish a new monthly slot for original music. On the last Tuesday of the month The Library will host new music, starting on Tuesday May 28.

Performing will be The HIP-NECK Blues Collective, runaway GO and Going 90: “The H.N.B.C has also shared stages with named acts such as Ham Sandwich, Kormacs Big Band, The Riptide Movement, Scroobius Pip, B. Dolan, DJ Woody and Sneaky Soundsystem.

The band has made a video for their track ‘Bill Murray’.  Recorded by Owen Lewis and shot, directed and edited by Shane Serrano, HNBC’S Camin Walsh said, “Working with Shane was a fantastic experience, a lot of fun. He is an incredible director…we would love to work with him again.”

You can catch them at this year’s LIFE Festival, which takes place on May 24 – 26.

You can catch The HIP-NECK Blues Collective with support from the incredible and hard working ‘Runaway Go’ from Belfast on the Limerick leg of their Irish tour, and Limericks own ‘Going 90’ in The Library on Tuesday May 28.
