Groups to benefit from council funding

UNIVERSITY Concert Hall in UL and the Foynes Aviation and Maritime museum will benefit most from the Limerick County Council Contribution Scheme 2013. They are due to receive โ‚ฌ18k and โ‚ฌ15k respectively as part of the โ‚ฌ95k fund to support organisations in arts, culture and tourism as well as animal welfare and marine rescue. Adare Heritage Trust is due to receive โ‚ฌ10k. The Irish Chamber Orchestra, Askeaton Civic Trust Heritage Centre, Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, Abbeyfeale Search and Rescue and the Belltable Arts Centre will get โ‚ฌ5k each. Firarsgate Theatre and Lough Gur Development Association will receive โ‚ฌ3k. The Hunt Museum is due to get โ‚ฌ2.5k while Comhalatas Ceoltรณirรญ Eireann, Community Games, St Gabriels Hydrotherapy Pool, West Limerick Community Radio, East Limerick Community Radio, Abbeyfeale Town Park and the Rape Crisis Mid-West are all set to receive โ‚ฌ2k. ย Limerick Youth Service will get โ‚ฌ1.5k. Limerick SPCA, Limerick Animal Welfare and Limerick Musical Society will then receive โ‚ฌ1k each.
