A NEW pet-friendly business initiative is set for launch this month following Council approval. Limerick businesses can soon be listed on an official directory as a motion by Aontú councillor Sarah Beasley comes to fruition.
Following the successful passage of Cllr Beasley’s Pets Are Welcome (PAWS) motion last October, the Council confirmed that design work has been completed, with a dedicated page being developed on Limerick.ie where businesses can register to be officially listed as pet-friendly.
“I’m delighted to see this initiative finally coming to life.”
When I brought this motion forward, it was about recognising that pets are part of our families and that Limerick should be a welcoming city for responsible pet owners and their companions,” Cllr Beasley said.
