A SPANISH actress who appeared in a Peter Jackson movie said has ‘fallen in love with Limerick.’

Diana Peñalver (48) is studying English at the University of Limerick’s Language Centre for three weeks until August 4.

She played the lead role in the cult horror classic ‘Braindead’ directed by the New Zealand director famous for the Lord of the Rings.

“I am here with my daughters aged 12 and 15. We love Limerick. The people, the sights, King John’s Castle and the weather. We will definitely be back,” said the Madrid resident.
