LIMERICK soprano Roisin Walsh returns to the gentle environs of St. Maryโ€™s Cathedral for โ€˜The Last Rose of Summerโ€™ concert, taking place Thursday September 12 at 8pm.

Accompanied by Colette Davis, Roisin will be joined by local artists Owen Gilhooly, Sarah-Ellen Murphy, Ellen Collins and Kevin Neville for this yearโ€™s sell-out in her name.

Ms Walsh has had an impressive couple of years on wider stages, ย having completed the prestigious Guildhall School of Music opera course. Concert wise she performed three principal roles in productions with orchestra: Anita in โ€˜La Navarraiseโ€™ (Massenet), Marcellina in โ€˜Le Nozze di Figaroโ€™ (Mozart) and Miss Wingrave in โ€˜Owen Wingraveโ€™ (Britten).
