Two viable pipe bombs found in Annacotty this afternoon have been disarmed by the army bomb squad. Gardaí called in the explosive ordnance disposal team after the suspicious objects were found in a field. The team arrived on scene at 1pm and after an initial assessment the devices were confirmed as viable and were taken away for further examination.
