Owen Geaney is in charge of music programming and production in the band and he told Limerick Post this week, “Work on album two is going really well. The new album will be different again to the first album, it’s quite boring to just recreate the same thing twice. We will be playing a few tracks off the new album in Dolan’s on Friday 4 night, so it will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts to them.”
New single ‘Still The Gardens Grow’ is picking up attention and airplay in America, the UK, including BBC Radio, and Australia. The live show coming to Limerick has been in development for months. “We have finally developed the live show into something which represents the first album, it’s energetic and flows nicely. It took a lot of time to get it to this stage as me and Gary Sherlock [vocals] wrote that album as a project together without the intention of playing it live. Performing the album live involved purchasing some synths and samplers to recreate the sound off the album, a big learning curve but we got there in the end.” Silent Noise Parade play Dolan’s this Friday October 4.
