FOLLOWING lengthy delays at the new driving licence service centre at the Parkway Shopping Centre, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) says the service will become more streamlined when problems with its information technology system are overcome.

Since last week, all driving licence related matters are no longer the responsibility of the local authority’s motor tax offices and are now under the auspices of the new National Driving Licence Service (NDLS) centres.

All Limerick queries are now being dealt with by the Parkway-based centre and extra staff are on hand to deal with the increased volume of queries.
