SuperValu wants to transform Christmas this year for families throughout Limerick City and County through ‘Operation Santa’ and ensure that no child is left disappointed or no family is left struggling because of the cost of Christmas.
“Operation Santa is a great initiative which helps, not only children in need, but supports families nationwide. What is really great about this appeal is that toys and gift cards collected locally are redistributed locally,” said managing director of SuperValu, Martin Kelleher.
SuperValu and Superquinn stores throughout Limerick will act as drop off points for this year’s appeal. This includes Superquinn Limerick on the Dublin Road and all seven SuperValu stores in County Limerick. People in Limerick will be able to donate toys in any of these SuperValu stores, or additionally, this year they can purchase a gift card in their local SuperValu.
