DISAPPOINTED Garth Brooks fans who did not manage to get tickets for his three shows in Croke Park in July woke this morning to the good news that a fourth concert will now take place on Monday July 28. Tickets go on sale this Thursday February 6 at 9am. Speaking to Live 95fm this morning Garth Brooks explained that he was aware that fans in Limerick who had queued overnight for tickets were left disappointed. He assured listeners that he had received a, “personal promise that Limerick will be taken care of and shown favoritism for what they went through”, from Peter Aiken of Aiken Promotions.

Tickets will be available on www.ticketmaster.ie or from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide including Gleesons on Upper William Street. Steve Gleeson of Gleeson’s Sports Scene told Limerick Post today that tickets would be available for sale from 9am this Thursday February 6 and asked in the interests of safety that people do not queue at the premises overnight.
