Kasabian gig and After Party

kasabianKASABIAN last played Limerick in August 2008, when their epic dance rock shook Dolan’s to its very foundations. The after party was pretty epic too. The Leicester quartet  is  about to release their fifth studio album 48:13 next month.

A festival favourite across Europe, Kasabian are headlining Benicassim and Glastonbury where they will be the last band to play the Pyramid Stage on Sunday June 29  – but before all that they are playing Limerick.

Talking to The Guardian last week the band promised that they want their gig to be the “best night of your life.”

“It shouldn’t be about being cool, it should be about embracing people. It’s the most amazing thing having someone on stage say that to you because you go: ‘Yeah, that’s exactly why I’m here.’”

Kasabian will play the Big Top this Friday May 16. Support from O Emperor. The Kasabian After Party happens at Kasbah Social Club next to Dolan’s from 11pm.
