NOVEMBER and December promise to excite and successfully draw to a close an already successful 10 months for National City of Culture 2014.

The city has watched a Grandmother of gigantic proportions roaming the streets, entertainment from international class productions such as Fuerza Brute as well as our own ‘Carmen’ ballet with Irish Chamber Orchestra set in the Milk Market.

There have been great exhibitions and installations (Urban Horse Herd in People’s Park) ranging from design to digital youth arts.
Limerick International Fashion Student Awards this week had a prize-giving purse of €11,000 plus internships. Film Limerick has €15,000 to spend two winning short films to be shot in Limerick. The successful projects will be decided by Thursday 30.
