A BODY has been recovered from the River Shannon during the course of a search for a missing Limerick man.
The body was recovered at an area known as Corbetts Point near Bunratty, after a search involving the Bunratty and Killaloe Search and Rescue services.
The body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a formal identification will be made.
