MOTORISTS driving to Croom from the Patrickswell direction on the motorway are missing their turnoff due to the mysterious disappearance of road signs. The ‘3/2/1’ exit warning signs went missing four weeks ago, creating confusion for drivers travelling to Croom. Banogue native and Fianna Fail councillor Richard O’Donoghue is calling for the signs to be replaced as a matter of urgency. “How the signs went missing isn’t known, but it’s very important that they are replaced. They are a marker for people looking to exit at Croom. People are missing the turn and jamming on the brakes at the last minute to make the exit,” he warned.
